Fast Algorithm for Two-Dimensional Linear-Phase Complex FIR Filter Design

چکیده

.We present a new method for two dimensional complex linear-phase FIR filter design. It is based on a fast algorithm that computes an orthonormal basis in a very efficient way. The problem of least squares filter design is solved by projecting the desired frequency response onto the subspace spanned by that basis. Our design examples show that the proposed method is faster than the well-known least squares approximation based on a pseudoinverse approach and a method based on a block-Toeplitz matrix inversion.
